This workshop will focus on quantum aspects of black holes and other interesting spacetimes such as de-Sitter. 

The workshop is jointly sponsored by the Nelson Center for Collaborative Research at the Institute for Advanced Study, the Princeton Center for Theoretical Science and the Princeton Gravity Initiative at Princeton University.

Announcements and Reminders

  • Please note that the IAS is extremely limited on breakfast items due to another conference. Please purchase your breakfast items in Princeton prior to coming to the IAS.
  • NOTE SHUTTLE PICKUP TIMES FROM NASSAU INN: Thursday, December 4: 8:00 am, 8:20 am, 8:40 am; Friday, December 5: 7:50 am, 8:10 am, 8:30 am. There may be one additional shuttle each day, but it is not guaranteed.
  • All lectures will be held in Wolfensohn Hall, with the first talk at 9:00am. You must go to the registration desk in Wolfensohn Hall to pick up your name badge. Note: Your name badge is required for all meals. Please wear it at all times.
  • Morning coffee break and afternoon tea will be held in Simons Hall. **Note: Friday afternoon tea will be held in Fuld Hall Common Room.
  • Lost and Found: Any lost and found items will be placed on the registration table in Wolfensohn Hall lobby.
  • A luggage drop area will be available on Friday morning. This will be located in Bloomberg Hall on the 1st Floor in the coat area next to the elevator. Please have a luggage tag with your name on your luggage.
