Description: Moiré materials have rapidly been established as a fertile platform for discovering exotic correlated quantum phenomena, with twisted bilayer graphene (TBG) and twisted transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) being paradigmatic examples revealing exotic phases such as unconventional superconductivity, correlated insulators, and integer and fractional quantum anomalous Hall states. As the field matures, a new generation of systems is emerging, extending beyond the familiar K-point twist geometries of TBG and semiconducting TMDs. Recent developments include moiré structures twisted with non-hexagonal lattices, hexagonal lattices but around the M point, and rhombohedral multilayer graphene hosting flat, gapless bands, offering fresh platforms for engineering new strongly correlated and topological phenomena. Concurrently, accelerating progress is being driven by experimental innovations on multiple fronts including fabrication, engineering and probing schemes. This workshop will bring together leading theorists and experimentalists to catalyze innovative ideas and collaborative projects that will drive the next wave of discoveries in the new "Moiré 2.0" era.
