Princeton University PCTS Conference

Cosmological and Astrophysical Probes of New Physics

The meeting will be a hybrid presentation of in person, for Princeton University affiliates (net ID holders) and Invited Speakers, and a Zoom presentation for all NON PU affiliates.  Registration is required for everyone to receive the Zoom link and to participate. The Zoom link will be emailed to those who register.

Please register on line, using this link: https://forms.gle/WCAYQEyyvGd2nALs8

The Agenda can be found at http://phyindico.princeton.edu/indico/event/45/    and you can read more on our PCTS website.

Cosmological and astrophysical probes provide critical clues to resolving challenges within the Standard Model. Some examples include observations of 21-cm radiation, gravitational wave signatures, fast radio bursts and measurements of the Hubble parameter, as well as various probes of local compact objects. Such observations, together with new theoretical frameworks, could provide lampposts for searches of new physics. This workshop will bring together experts in both particle physics and astrophysics focusing on in-depth discussions of selected astrophysical topics and their implications for particle physics. The workshop will provide an informal setting and encourage debate and cross-field discussion on the connection between observations and their theoretical understanding.
