Overconvergent Frobenius From Quantum Connection

The simplest kind of Gromov-Witten invariants produce the (very) small quantum connection, which is a connection in one variable with a regular singularity at origin. I will discuss a conjecture which predicts that for a smooth complex Fano variety, its small quantum connection has an overconvergent Frobenius intertwiner with initial term prescribed by Morita’s $p$-adic Gamma function. As a symplectic topologist, I hope to learn more from the audience on how to understand this conjecture.

This is based on joint work with Pomerleano and Seidel.
