Improving Low-Redshift Supernova Cosmology: Dark Energy Bedrock All-Sky Supernovae Survey
We present an initial subset of the Dark Energy Bedrock All-Sky Supernova (DEBASS) dataset. The DEBASS program has 3.5 nights per semester over three years, utilizing the DECam instrument to conduct follow-up observations of existing all-sky transient alert systems. DEBASS has accumulated over 400 spectroscopically confirmed SNe Ia with redshifts extending to approximately z ~ 0.08. This dataset will play a pivotal role in enhancing our ability to characterize bulk flows and refine measurements of isotropy in the universe. In this talk, I will review our imaging pipeline and show light curves for the portion of our data that falls within the Dark Energy Survey footprint.
