Mathematical Conversations

Symmetric polynomials are often characterized as characters of modules over Lie algebras. Such characters are symmetric as they are invariant under the action of the Weyl group. In the "super case", this group generalizes to the Weyl groupoid. We shall discuss this notion and its relation to supersymmetric functions.
