This project highlights Shizuo Kakutani, Fumio Yagi, and Hideki Yukawa, former Institute for Advanced Study Members whose contributions to the community came during a period of peril for those of Asian identity in the United States. Here, Jenna Finan reveals the enduring impact of these three scholars and explores how their legacies continue to enrich the Institute for Advanced Study today.

This StoryMap examines the history of the streets on the Institute for Advanced Study campus. This digital project includes information about how the campus decided on names for the roads and provides a brief tour for guests new to the community. 

This digital exhibit features content curated by the History Working Group, a group of Institute Members that mobilized in response to the 2017 Executive Order banning travel and immigration from seven predominantly Muslim countries in conjunction with the Shelby White and Leon Levy Archives Center and permanent Faculty and Staff at the Institute.

The Institute's Oral History Project offers decades of audio recordings and transcripts featuring some of the Institute's most distinguished community members. The project includes oral histories with Raul Bott, Shing Shen Chern, Freeman Dyson, and Lily Harish-Chandra, among others. 

The Historical Society of Princeton and the Institute for Advanced Study co-host a virtual book launch for The Man from the Future: The Visionary Life of John von Neumann featuring author Ananyo Bhattacharya as introduced by Marina von Neumann Whitman. 

This recorded event features Institute for Advanced Study Archivist Caitlin Rizzo in conversation with the Friends of the Institute. In this event, the Archives Center explores the integral role the Institute lands play as a part of living history.
