"Understanding Confinement"
Prospects in Theoretical Physics (PiTP) is an intensive two-week summer program designed for advanced graduate students and postdoctoral scholars. The program will be held from July 10-21, 2023 at the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton, NJ.
Topics will include:
- Path integral for gauge theory and its lattice regularizations
- Order parameters for Color Confinement and Mechanisms of Confinement
- Dynamics of Confining Strings
- Higher Form Symmetries
- Introduction to modern numerical methods
- Confinement and Gauge/String Duality
- Lower Dimensional Models for QCD
