Computing Clusters

Here at IAS we have high performance computing clusters that are available for use;

For large parallel computations and batch jobs, SNS has a 64-node (1024 cores) Beowulf cluster, named Hyperion.

For more information on the Hyperion cluster, follow this link.

To request access for Hyperion, please contact Math Computing: help@math.ias.edu

In addition to the Hyperion Cluster, access can be granted to the Perseus cluster at Princeton University.

Perseus is a 320 node Dell Beowulf cluster. All compute nodes in this cluster are connected via an Infiniband network designed for high speed and low latency to enable excellent performance for tightly coupled MPI codes. Each node has 28-core Broadwell processors and 128 GB of RAM.

For more information, follow this link.

To gain access to Perseus, faculty approval and an ssh public key is needed before SNS can create the account.
