 ence honoring the scholarship of Professor\nDidier Fassin from April 18-20
 \, 2026. This international gathering\nbrings together leading scholars to
  engage with Fassin's\ntransformative contributions to social science—from
  his\ngroundbreaking work on moral anthropology to his critical\,\nillumin
 ating studies of policing\, migration\, and public health.\nThrough rigoro
 us ethnographic research conducted in prisons\,\nhospitals\, police depart
 ments\, refugee camps\, and humanitarian zones\,\nFassin has demonstrated 
 how sustained attention to lived experience\ncan illuminate the ethical co
 ntradictions embedded in institutions and\npolicies. His influential frame
 works—moral economies\, humanitarian\nreason\, the politics of life—have r
 eshaped debates across\nanthropology\, sociology\, law\, social theory\, a
 nd politics.\n\nThe conference will feature wide-ranging discussions on et
 hnographic\nmethodology\, the ethics of fieldwork in sites of violence and
 \nprecarity\, and the relationship between creative and scholarly\npractic
 e. Over six panels\, participants will explore how Fassin's\nscholarship h
