Message from Mungo is currently a work in progress, this is a feedback screening. The Willandra Lakes area of south-west New South Wales is an area rich with archaeological remains and history. Message from Mungo narrates the often tense relationship between the scientists and the native peoples. The film captures each group's transformation toward mutual respect and even friendship. Ann McGrath is currently a Member in the School of Social Science.
