Edward T. Cone Concert: Choir of Trinity Wall Street

The 2016-17 Edward T. Cone Concert Series season will open with a concert by the Choir of Trinity Wall Street, the first performance organized by new Artist-in-Residence David Lang. The performance will highlight Lang’s evening morning day and the rarely performed Messe de Nostre Dame of Guillaume de Machaut, the first complete mass composed by a single composer, along with other semi-religious music from the Burgundian Renaissance. A concert talk with David Lang and the artists will follow the Friday, September 30 performance. This concert, which is supported by a grant from the PNC Foundation, is free and open to the public.
