AMIAS Call for Nominations
The Association of Members of the Institute for Advanced Study (AMIAS) is headed by a Board of Trustees. Members of AMIAS, the organization of current or former IAS scholars, elect the AMIAS Board, which represents all four Institute Schools. The Board of Trustee term is three years. The Board meets twice each calendar year at the Institute for Advanced Study.
The Board invites you to make a nomination to select successors for the six open seats:
- The nominee must have been or be a Member or Visitor of the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton, NJ.
- The nominee, if elected, must be willing to serve as an AMIAS Trustee.
- The nominee must be able to attend the Board of Trustee Meetings.
The election will take place on Friday, November 1, 2019 at the AMIAS Annual Meeting of the Membership to be held at the Institute for Advanced Study. All former and current IAS scholars are invited to attend. Those who are unable to attend on November 1 will have the option to vote via email. The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, August 21.
