Members of the Friends of the Institute for Advanced Study are partners in the advancement of research and scholarship at the highest level. The Edward T. Cone Concert Series is supported by the Edward T. Cone Foundation. Additional major funding is provided by gifts from Giorgio and Elena Petronio; Patricia H. and George Labalme, Jr., given in tribute to Phillip A. Griffiths, Director of the Institute, 1991–2003; and by Mrs. Gaby Borel in memory of Armand Borel and in honor of the seventy-fifth anniversary of the Institute.
