Orpheus Chamber Orchestra will perform a concert at 6:30 p.m. that will be repeated at 8:30 p.m. in Wolfensohn Hall.  The Grammy® Award-winning Orpheus Chamber Orchestra is internationally renowned for its fine artistry and distinctive approach to music-making, with a performing and recording legacy spanning 35 years.  Noted by critics and audiences alike for their unsurpassed energy, sensitivity, and connection to listeners, Orpheus is considered one of New York's cultural treasures.

Cellist Matt Haimovitz and pianist Geoffrey Burleson will perform in a concert on Friday that will be repeated on Saturday.  The Israeli-born Haimovitz is known for his exploration of both classical and rock music.  He has studied under renowned cellist Leonard Rose.  Burleson has performed to wide acclaim throughout Europe and North America, and is equally active as a recitalist, concerto soloist, chamber musician and jazz performer.

Tim Munro, Michael J. Maccaferri, Matt Albert, Nicholas Photinos, Matthew Duvall,
and Lisa Kaplan, the musicians of eighth blackbird, will perform a concert on Friday that will be repeated on Saturday.  Described by The New Yorker as "friendly, unpretentious, idealistic and highly skilled," the Grammy Award-winning eighth blackbird promises its ever-increasing audiences provocative and engaging performances.

Lyric soprano Amy Burton wil perform with Trio Solisti
in a concert on Friday that will be repeated on Saturday.  Burton is known for her electric stage presence, crystalline sound, and keen musicianship.  The acclaimed Trio Solisti (Maria Bachmann, violin; Alexis Pia Gerlach, cello; and Jon Klibonoff, piano) is quickly becoming a major force in the chamber music world, with performances of "unrelenting passion and zealous abandon" (The Washington Post).
