Cellist Matt Haimovitz and pianist Geoffrey Burleson will perform in a concert on Friday that will be repeated on Saturday.  The Israeli-born Haimovitz is known for his exploration of both classical and rock music.  He has studied under renowned cellist Leonard Rose.  Burleson has performed to wide acclaim throughout Europe and North America, and is equally active as a recitalist, concerto soloist, chamber musician and jazz performer.

Lyric soprano Amy Burton wil perform with Trio Solisti
in a concert on Friday that will be repeated on Saturday.  Burton is known for her electric stage presence, crystalline sound, and keen musicianship.  The acclaimed Trio Solisti (Maria Bachmann, violin; Alexis Pia Gerlach, cello; and Jon Klibonoff, piano) is quickly becoming a major force in the chamber music world, with performances of "unrelenting passion and zealous abandon" (The Washington Post).
