Field of Study: History of Mathematics
Research Description: Juliette Kennedy works in the foundations of mathematics. Her project at the
Institute is historical, mathematical, and philosophical in nature, and
concerns the concept of what she calls "formalism freeness." She intends to
finish her monograph on this subject while at the Institute this summer.
