Berkovich, Vladimir

[M] School of Mathematics
Field of Study: Non-Archimedean Analytic Geometry
Research Description: Vladimir Berkovich works in non-Archimedean analytic geometry and on its applications to algebraic geometry and number theory. At the Institute, he plans to investigate a new approach to complex analytic vanishing cycles through formal geometry with the aim of possible extension of Hodge theory to non-Archimedean analytic spaces.
