Field of Study: Symplectic Geometry
Research Description: Nick Sheridan works on symplectic geometry, especially homological mirror symmetry. While at the Institute, he plans to use tropical geometry to study invariants of symplectic manifolds, like symplectic cohomology and the Fukaya category.
