Research Description: Stefanos Aretakis is interested in hyperbolic partial differential equations that arise in Einstein’s theory of general relativity. His main focus has been the study of stability and instability properties of the wave equation on black hole backgrounds. At the Institute, he plans to study the black hole stability and uniqueness problem.
