Field of Study: Applied Algebraic Topology
Research Description: Michael Lesnick’s research focuses on the theoretical foundations of topological data analysis. Currently, he is interested in studying pseudometrics on diagrams of topological spaces, called interleaving distances, which arise naturally in the study of topological inference.
