Research Description: Marijana Ricl is currently looking at available literary sources, inscriptions, coins, and material traces of known sacred places in her investigation of local sanctuaries as human communities, unities of persons and things, and not simply places of cult in the everyday life of several Anatolian regions (e.g., Mysia, Lydia, Phrygia) in the Hellenistic and Roman period.
