Field of Study: Early Medieval History
Research Description: Yitzhak Hen is studying the nature and role of Arianism in the early medieval West. By looking at each of the post-Roman Barbarian kingdoms, with an emphasis on the place of Arianism within each, he is seeking to offer a new perspective on the function of Arianism in late antiquity and the early Middle Ages.
