Research Description: Oleg Voskoboynikov is interested in the history of art, spirituality, and science in the medieval West, especially between ca. 1000 and 1300. He is now preparing the publication of his book, in French, on Frederick II of Hohenstaufen, a critical edition of the Liber particularis by Michael Scot (ca. 1235). At the Institute, he is working on the sources of the Liber particularis and on a habilitation on faith and reason in the West in the twelfth and thirteenth centuries.
