Research Description: Tudor Dimofte studies various topics in string theory and quantum field theory, ranging from quantum states of black holes to dynamics of gauge theories. He is interested in building new, mutually beneficial connections between physics and mathematics, especially in the fields of algebraic geometry and knot theory.
